Who am I?
I'm just another Software Engineer. This website is just a tiny part of a larger personal project that dives deeper into self-hosting and server management. I like to make model kits such as Gundam and similar. I love cooking, music producing, developing software, playing video games, building computers, and many other hobbies.
Software Engineering

As of 2022, I am in my final year of Software Engineering at my University. I focused my major in Software Engineering as well as an immersion in Communication. I additionally have a former background in Computer Science from my time at a community college.
I have the most experience with back-end development but I am not a stranger to front-end and full-stack development environments. I typically spend the bulk of my academia-based career using technologies such as Java, Python, C, C++, various flavors of SQL, JS, React, Ruby, Docker, and AWS.
In my professional career, I first started work at a small local company. I spent the bulk of my time working with C# and Visual Studio as a dedicated tester who would test against the production database to ensure quality and accuracy.
At my current job as a Software Developer for a Bank (Fin-tech), I spend the bulk of my time as an automation engineer creating automation solutions for my clients. This is primarily done using Python and JS. Python is used for accessing data and creating scripts outside of our typical domain. Otherwise, I work entirely within ServiceNow. An IT and Access Management-based service that allows for the tracking and discovery of assets within the Bank, and various other devices, servers, network attached items, databases, and much more.
Aside from that I also have experience academically with leading teams, pushing for Agile work environments, and following typical Scrum-based methodologies for completing work. I have additional experience with OKRs, Waterfall, XP, and other approaches. For managing work such as this, I utilize technologies such as Trello and Jira.
Personal Projects
You can find most of everything on my public GitHub page linked above. But I would like to talk a bit about my KVM project. I spent the bulk of one of my summers learning how to create Kernel-based virtual machines. This required to learn how to manage CPU core topology, manage 'hidden' BIOS options, learn IOMMU, QEMU, understand VFIO-Redhat technologies, have a deep understanding of Linux based distributions, specifically Ubuntu-based versions, and most importantly, knowing how to read the documentation. I decided to take on the creation of a guide that could be replicated for users who may not primarily understand Linux but also experts who just want a quick at-a-glance guide. I provided scripts, verbose instructions, images and my own ideas and approaches. Seeing as how my project has 20+ stars, I can only assume that it has been helpful to anyone willing to go as far as to favorite it. Please feel free to dive into my guide and just read over it! Skimming is encouraged since it is such a complex topic.
Personal Life
I consider myself a jack of all trades master of none type of person. I love to try many things even if I don't pick something up as a full-blown hobby.
Model Kit Building
One thing that will become quite apparent if you spent even thirty seconds browsing this website is that I love to build gunpla. Admittedly, it is a very recent hobby that I started within the last two years. In this short time, I quickly climbed the ranks of HG, RG, MG, and PG grade kits. Even with this being said I don't think I will go much further outside of customizing kits aside from water slide decals, panel lining, and clear coating at the end. I have ambitions to get into spray painting but that will be a long time from now.
Some notable kits that are on the website are the Nu-type kits that I documented. Otherwise the MG Sazabi Ver Ka, PG Unicorn (Standard), and 1/100 Kotobukiya Metal Gear Rex have been some of my favorite builds so far.
I look forward to making more kits and updating the website more with kits I own as I find the time to do so.
Cooking
Just like with model kits, I love cooking. I have a few recipes up already. Whenever I'm not taking part in one of my core hobbies, I am learning new recipes, testing new dishes, and having fun outdoors with my pellet smoker and charcoal grills. I will also repost recipes onto my own website (with credit of course) more as a safety list in case I lose the links.
Gaming
What can I say? I'm a gamer at heart. I spend most of my free time enjoying gaming (and audio at the same time). I play most games but I have a soft spot for very immersive story-driven games, anything Cyberpunk-related, and MMORPGs including, Final Fantasy XIV and World of Warcraft, and Old School Runescape if you want to count that. If you want to know more about my gaming tastes I will drop some of my recent favorites below. The order does not matter in this instance.
- Cyberpunk 2077
- World of Warcraft Classic (played Vanilla -> Shadowlands and Classic -> WOTLK Classic)
- OSRS
- Disco Elysium
- Mass Effect Legendary Edition
- Nier Automata / Nier Replicant
- Elden Ring (Souls-Born fanboy)
- GMOD
- Stardew Valley
- Escape from Tarkov
